About the Military Veteran Project

Training them to come home after war.

Every day, brave men and women who once stood guard for our freedom return home to fight invisible battles. The Military Veteran Project (MVP) was founded to ensure those battles are never fought alone. We are a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing military suicide through research, treatment, and community-based programs that restore purpose, promote healing, and strengthen the bond between veterans, families, and their communities. From raising awareness through our #22ADay campaign to hands-on initiatives like Building Hope, Operation Holiday Joy, Restore Project, Refuel Project, and Flags Forward, MVP unites citizens, partners, and volunteers to make a difference — one veteran, one family, one life at a time.

Our Mission

Behind every number is a name.

The Military Veteran Project is dedicated to saving military and veteran lives by empowering research, treatment, and community-based prevention initiatives for post-traumatic stress and suicide prevention. Through our nationwide programs, we help veterans rediscover purpose, healing, and connection. We believe every act of service — from flag placements to building workshops — can restore hope and remind our heroes they are never forgotten.

Our Vision

No veteran fights their battle alone.

Our vision is a world where every veteran has access to mental health care, nutritional wellness, and community connection — ensuring every service member has the opportunity to live a fulfilling life after service. We see a future where communities stand together to honor, support, and empower our heroes not only in remembrance but through action — creating pathways to healing, growth, and renewed purpose.

Join the Mission

Be part of the change.

Together, we can turn awareness into action — and honor our veterans by helping them live the lives they fought to protect.
