HOW WE WORK WITH PARTNERS
Why work with local partners?
We know that investing in local expertise is the best way to create long-term impact. Our partners have the years of experience and local knowledge to deliver the best for our veterans, one community at a time. While Military Veteran Project raises awareness, fund treatments and research, our partners we unite with continue to carry on the mission of military suicide prevention through additional resources, recreational therapy in our communities every day. This can not be done without them nor could we do this alone. What is your relationship with partners? Without our partners around the world and their thousands of dedicated staff, Military Veteran Project's work would not be possible. Our Military Suicide Prevention Programs team communicates with our partners every day to track progress and troubleshoot challenges that come up. During our frequent visits around the world, our partners are visiting communities with us. |
How do you choose partners?
We make sure that our partners have top-notch experience and expertise. Our teams spend weeks at a time with partners with boots on the ground to make sure they have the skills and resources to deliver high quality, sustainable support to veterans in need and report back on every dollar they spend. What does Military Veteran Project expect from partners? Our partners share our vision of preventing military suicide in our lifetime. They are dedicated to providing life saving measures to veterans in need, educating our communities and to making sure friends and families of veteran have tools they need for continued support. We expect our partners to work closely with local communities, leaders, governments, medical teams, and researchers to accomplish lasting change. |
