For most kids, saying goodbye to mom or dad as they leave for deployment is one of the hardest moments in their childhood to endure. Imagine a parent deployed 5-7 times, multiple deployments, long hours of work and high stress level positions for their military parents take a hard toll on these military children. Add in military children that are no near a military base or may not have other military children as peers.
